Baner Correspondent : | Social service is not just an act of kindness—it is a way of life that can become a lifelong ideal. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has often emphasized the importance of contributing to society during every phase of life—be it childhood, youth, or old age.

While political birthdays are often marked with grand banners, fireworks, and extravagant spending, social worker and NCP Youth City President of Baner, Sameer Chandere, chose a meaningful and socially conscious way to celebrate the birthday of Deputy Chief Minister and Pune District Guardian Minister Ajit Dada Pawar this year.

In a commendable initiative, around 5,000 underprivileged students were provided with school bags and essential educational materials. The distribution took place in schools run by the Pune Municipal Corporation and Zilla Parishad in Baner, Sus, Pashan, and Mahalunge areas.

Smiles and joy lit up the faces of the students who received the kits. Notebooks, pens, pencils, and school bags will now ease their academic journey and boost their motivation to study.

This thoughtful gesture has received widespread appreciation across the city, setting an example of how a leader’s birthday can be celebrated with a sense of social responsibility and purpose. Sameer Chandere has truly set a benchmark for socially-driven leadership celebrations.
